This month on May 14th our School will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary.  We will be having multiple opportunities for all of our families to enjoy in the celebration with all of us. 

Friday night will be our beginner tournament.  This is open to our newest students up through our newest green stripe belts.  Starting time is 5:30, and will also include our Black Belt's Team Musical Form finals!!!

Saturday morning at 9:30am our 2 and 3 year old tigers will be doing a tiger "tournament."  Complete with medals, bowing contest, and an AWESOME experience.

Saturday is our HOME TOURNAMENT and 10 year anniversary day!!!  Tournament open to all green stripes and higher.

This past weekend several of our adult student (and a couple of dedicated kids) took part in 10,000 double knife hands.  We all knew it would be a journey, but what an amazing thing to share with everyone.  I would like to congratulate all who took part in successfully meeting and exceeding our goal together.  It is really amazing what can be accomplished when we break down our big goals into smaller, more manageable steps!  I look forward to continuing to grow with everyone, and enjoying each other's journey.

Congratulations to our newest Black Belts from Black Belt Testing #25. 

Hello AWESOME Students and Families of the R.T. Berry School!

          I have just learned that I have passed my evaluation for 5^th degree.  The purpose of this letter is not to announce that though.  The purpose is to thank you all for all you have given me as your Instructor, your child’s Instructor, and fellow martial artist. 

Congratulations to the west Virginia competitors.  It was another awesome year, with great memories, and plenty to work on back at the Do Jang.  Over the past years, we have had an awesome opportunity to have all types of tournament experiences.  This was no different.  The most important thing to me has always been how we represent our School and ourselves.  You all did a great job representing the entire R.T. Berry School Family.  We are already looking forward to next year!

Our School will be West Virginia bound this Friday for Grand Master Kang's 38th annual US Open Championships.  This tournament is historical not only because it is one of the longest running traditional tournaments in the country, but also because of who Grand Master Kang is and what he has accomplished. 

Thank you to all of the families that made the 2010 Black Belt Club Beach Trip a HUGE SUCCESS!!!!

Hello AWESOME Students and Families!

Last night we held our School's 20th Black Belt Testing.  It was AMAZING!  I first want to thank ALL the families involved for your trust and support, and for all of your kind words about our Program.  It is always amazing to me to see how far each student (and their family) have come since introducing themselves to our School.

I would like to formally congratulate those students for their accomplishment, and let you know how proud you made all of us last night.

I am looking forward to continuing on your journey with you, and invite you to continue on my journey with me.
