Congratulations to all of the students and families who earned your next goal last Thursday or Friday.  The testings were AWESOME!!!  I am very excited to see what is coming behind the advanced belts.  The best way for us ALL to get better is to be pulled from ahead AND PUSHED FROM BEHIND, and on behalf of all of the Black Belts...we feel the push!!   

I would like to take a moment to let all the students pre testing for Black Belt this Wednesday night that we are pulling for you.  Pass or fail, we will set our next goals together and work hard to achieve them.  Should they pass, you will see them wearing their Black Stripe Belts with the Black Up!  Train hard and be ready!  This will be the most intense hour and a half you may ever spend with me.

Thank you to everyone who supported the tournament this past Saturday.  Having the tournament at KwaJa Nim's School was very special for me to see.  This tournament was also a special tournament because so many students made such great strides.  Watching some of the students who have been participating regularly without receiving awards get awards on Saturday was AWESOME!  It is so neat to watch them finally have their day!  I have seen it so many times, the ones who go regular always have their day eventually.  When they do it is priceless!   Congratulations to those who had your day, and Congratulations to those who didn't...keep training hard! 

Hello AWESOME Students and Families!

              Thank you for an AWESOME event this past Saturday.  It has been an incredible journey over the past almost six years, and I am looking forward to many more years with all of you.  It was absolutely AMAZING to watch the Black Belts on Saturday give their memory...standing up front as young men and women, I can't help but remember all the times between when they started and now.  My Sunday was filled with laughs and thoughts of all of the kids (and you adults too!) and remembering all the little stories.  It is amazing to think back and see some of the you...I can remember teaching the most advanced of Black Belt Helpers how to bow, and what walking stance is.  WOW!

OUR NEW WEB SITE is up and running. In the coming months you will see many extras including a member name a password to get into the Student and Family information, an opportunity to post in the school forum, and an opportunity to submit a family testimonial to our website.

We are looking very forward to using this site in order to help the families stay organized with all of the AWESOME events planned for '07.

I am very excited about January 27th. Every year our Black Belt Club has a Kick Off party and BBQ. This year is special, and the Black Belt Club would like to invite EVERYONE to the BBQ. I will be providing TONS of BBQ and "hush puppies," and the families bring a dish to share. The Black Belt Club will be working out at 12 noon, and then the party to follow in the parking lot at 1pm.
